Summary
The passing of myth over centuries and across continents has allowed individual cultures to create personal interpretations of goddesses through intertwined feminine archetypes, each accompanied by differing artistic styles and generational significance. These goddesses share the positions and prestige of their audiences but surprisingly differ in physical expressions, skills, symbolism, and histories. This digital gallery aims to exhibit the goddesses mainly through illustrations, compiled research, and visual influences. Small animations will bring these over-looked goddesses to life, hoping to capture the essence of their energy and influence. The gallery will be coded with HTML and styled with CSS. The gallery divides each archetype and chosen goddess into its respective sub page. The color palette reflects earthly but royal tones and will envelope the focus of my capstone. The study of the human figure will also assist in achieving both accurate and diverse depictions of divine women, as well as in progressing my existent interest in visual artistic skills. My project has been executed through an online gallery created solely using HTML and CSS.
